We have been hearing about the Realme GT Neo 5 for some time now, which will be the first smartphone with 240-watt fast charging, and this has been officially confirmed by the manufacturer. Further specifications of the device were not disclosed, but the mobile phone recently appeared in the database of the Chinese telecommunications office, from which all the most important features of the phone can be read without further ado.
According to TENAA, the device will come in two versions, one of which is RMX3706and the other is RMX3708 bears a model number, the only difference between the two smartphones is actually the battery capacity. For one it is 2425 mAh and for the other 2225 mAh, which means that the average capacity will be 4850 and 4450 mAh. Based on this, it can be stated that the mobile, or rather mobiles, will be equipped with dual-cell batteries, but there is nothing surprising in this, since this type of design is necessary for wind emergency fast charging methods.
According to previous leaks, the GT Neo 5 will be sold with 150 and 240 watt charging, the former version will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, and the latter with a 4,600 mAh battery. As for the other features, the Realme GT Neo 5 will be equipped with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a total of 2772 x 1240 pixels, and the panel will be covered by an 8-core processor with a clock speed of 3 GHz.
On the back of the phone, there is a 50-megapixel primary image recording module, which is joined by an 8-megapixel unit, presumably the ultra-wide-angle sensor, and we also get a 2-megapixel unit, which will either be a macro or a depth sensor. The front camera will record the shots in 16 megapixel resolution. The Realme GT Neo 5 will be available with 8, 12, and 16 GB of RAM, while the storage space can be 128, 256, 512 GB, or even 1 TB, depending on the chosen package.
Other noteworthy features include the fingerprint reader mounted under the display, the infrared port, and support for 5G networks. Despite the large batteries, the smartphone will be only 8.9 mm thick and weigh only 199 grams. The presentation of the Realme GT Neo 5 will take place next month, we have not yet received an exact date, but the device will most likely be unveiled at the MWC exhibition in Barcelona.
