Just a week ago, it was reported that Brendan Fraser had a role in Martin Scorsese’s latest film, the historical/criminal drama Killers of the Flower Moon. But it’s not the only exciting cinema project of the original Mummy movies star lately: he starred in Steven Soderbergh’s No Sudden Move, which airs this year, starring his new film Darren Aronofsky, and his role as a Scorsese filmmaker revealed that he was filming a comedy with Peter Dinklage, Josh Brolin, and Glenn Close. Fraser was one of the most popular Hollywood actors around the turn of the millennium but has disappeared from the limelight over the past decade. Upon his return, movie fans responded with erupting enthusiasm on the Internet, and Fraser was understandably touched by the video shown below.
Of course, it can’t be said that the now 52-year-old actor would have completely disappeared, as he also starred in smaller films in his tens and also tried his hand at the world of TV series. He plays, for example, in HBO Maxen’s DC series starting in 2019, Doom Patrol, which will also return as Cliff Steele, or Robotman, in its third season in September. However, those who did not follow the world of films and series with vulgar eyes have rarely encountered his name since the last time the third Mummy film (The Tomb of the Dragon Emperor) in 2008.
The actor was talking to a TikTok user named Lindley these days, and the new Scorsese film also came up during the conversation. Rob Keyes also shared this excerpt on Twitter with the text, “Brendan Fraser is the best. Give her a role in everything!”

“I’m going to work with Scorsese and Leo [DiCapiro] and Bob De Niro. I can get sick of it too, I’m a little tense. I mean, it’ll be perfect, but still …”. Lindley reassured him not to worry, he was going to go. The internet people were behind him and supporting him, eager to find out what he was going to do next. The actor was apparently a little sensitive to this and couldn’t add too much to his embarrassment.
