Corsair One i300, a compact but extremely powerful PC

The Corsair One i300 is presented as the successor to the Corsair One i200, a team that we already talked about last year and that, as we told you at the time, was emerging as one of the most powerful PCs on the market, and also as one of the most minor and best designed we’ve seen so far.

With the Corsair One i300, the American company has managed to maintain the essence, and all the value, of its well-known range of compact PCs, both in terms of power and size. As we can see in the attached images, the Corsair One i300 starts from the same design that we had seen in the previous generation, which translates into a minimalist, discreet and elegant line, with a black finish and two RGB LED lighting lines. Customizable on the front that gives it a touch of color.

The chassis used by the Corsair One i300 is 12 liters, which means that it is only slightly larger than a console (10 liters) and much smaller than a conventional PC (35 liters). On the sides, it has small holes that allow the entry of cold air from outside.

Both the processor and the graphics card are supported by two liquid cooling systems that receive cold air from these side inlets, and at the top, it mounts a fan that extracts the hot air. As we will see below, Corsair has managed to keep a complete, state-of-the-art setup under control with this airflow.

Corsair One i300 Specifications

The Corsair One i300 has been designed as state-of-the-art equipment, which implies the user. This means that it integrates Intel’s most advanced platform, a custom motherboard equipped with the Z690 chipset, and it comes with a powerful Intel Core i9-12900K processor, a chip that adds a total of 16 cores and 24 threads.

We can configure it with a GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card with 10 GB of GDDR6X graphics memory or an RTX 3080 Ti with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory. Both can move current games in 4K resolution without problems, although the second offers a higher power peak. The Core i9-12900K can move both graphics cards optimally, so the component ratio will be optimal regardless of the configuration we choose.

The memory configuration that the Corsair One i300 amounts to is staggering. We can choose between 32 GB of DDR5 at 4,800 MHz or 64 GB of DDR5 at 4,400 MHz. If we plan to play, the first option will be the best for us, but if we want to unify work and leisure in the Corsair One i300, and for that reason, we go To use advanced editing tools or applications that consume a lot of memory, we should go for the 64 GB DDR5 configuration. The conductor is Windows 11 Pro, and we have a powerful 1TB or 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, so storage is not an issue.

As expected, the Corsair One i300 is also up to date when it comes to connectivity, both wired and wireless, as it has three DisplayPort connectors, one HDMI output, two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, a 2.5G Ethernet connector that will allow us to enjoy a high-speed Internet connection, six USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and Wi-Fi 6E. (two connections for external antennas).

I do not have information about the recommended sale price, so I can not confirm anything yet. However, the price will change a lot depending on our configuration, which is very powerful, compact, and well-built equipment.
