Three episodes of Loki are down, and there’s still the same number left in the Disney+ series. After the previous episode, Tom Hiddleston, who plays the god of pranks, promised that the series would take a whole new direction in the second half. The teasing trailer for the sequel doesn’t reveal this new direction, but based on the video, we’ll probably revisit a well-known location: Asgard.
At the end of the third episode, Loki and Sylvie try to escape lamentis-1, facing the apocalypse, and they will succeed, as expected. Still, in the trailer, we can see that they are both being caught in the TVA, as you can see from thor and Loki’s home, which had only appeared in the first episode when Loki’s “best of” scenes were projected by Morbius.
The video consists largely of scenes from previous episodes, but you can see a few seconds of the fourth – or even later – parts in the second half. How Loki gets to Asgard – or a planet very similar to it – remains to be seen, or even if Sylvie is manipulating her into singing it to make her think she’s home. Asgard was destroyed according to the MCU’s chronological order. Still, the plot of the series began before that, and jumping in time allows them to visit the planet at any time.
