The newest install installation of the Marvel cinematic universe arrived in theatres on July 4, 2015, and is the final film of the third phase, Spider-Man: Away. There’s no way you can miss it.
Spider-Man: Away, as expected, picks up the stream of action after Avengers: Endgame. Peter (Tom Holland) and his friends and the rest of the world are trying to process the time since the events of the Infinity War, the loss of loved ones, the return or death of their loved ones. As expected, this line played a vital role in the film. In The Away, he was able to help his protagonists and his viewers get over the losses of The Endgame.
Tony’s death appeared to have affected Peter, the worst of the film’s characters. Happy became a kind of assistant to young Spider-Man, gaining peace of mind. It’s interesting how the two of them have changed since their return home, where Iron Man’s former head of security saw his new protétéct as an annoying hassle. With the loss of Tony and other events in the film, he took over as a parent alongside May.
And if you’ve ever thought about how Peter’s classmates didn’t age a minute when five years passed, the movie explains that in the first few minutes. Without selling bigger spoilers, sony decided not to complicate things too much. Along with Peter, all of his close friends, Ned (Jacob Batalon), MJ (Zendaya), Betty (Angourie Rice) and Jason (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.), as well as Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), as the film calls it, “ticked off” time thanks to Thanos. This is a practical solution, although not the most exciting. We have to admit and Peter had something to fight without even having to deal with the fact that his best friend or lover had since graduated from high school and went to college.
Director Jon Watts and screenwriters Chris McKenna and Eric Sommers managed to maintain the light-hearted, humorous atmosphere known for spider-man: Homecoming, in addition to the many spirituals. This is partly due to Ned and partly to the two teachers who travel on a class trip, who are well out of the Z-generation crowd. One source of humour is their technical misfortune and superstitions, alongside young people already living their lives online. However, they were not spared, and in the image of Flash, they put a pretty curved mirror in front of the Instagram generation.
And if we’ve come this far, it’s time to pay more attention to Holland, the film’s other protagonist, Jake Gyllenhaal, and the Mysterio he brought to life. We’ve written an article before about what the real Mysterio is like, and we’ve reviewed the character’s comic origins. Still, we’re not the only one who’s been skinful about Quentin Beck’s appearance as a hero. The relationship between the characters stan lee and Steve Ditko in the Marvel comics is not nearly as friendly as in the film. No wonder, as a viewer, we’re waiting to see when Mysterio from the other world finally shows off his teeth. However, we can wait a long time for this.
Gyllenhaal is a great new hero who has been deprived of his family and his home by the Elementals. It was Thanos who got him into our world. Peter’s going to give us a little lesson on how to do that, and then we’re going to find out that he’s from Earth 833. We even believe him for a while, for he is not for nothing a master of illusions. Beck deftly controls events and wraps everyone around his finger, from Peter to the ever-suspicious Nick Fury.
Thanks to him and the Elementals, the film abounds in an action scene. There are almost no 10 minutes between the demolition of two European cities. The only battle that awaits you for a little longer, but we do not have to be bored even during this time. As we’ve become accustomed to in Marvel movies, the special effects team has done its part. Not one but two huge illusion battles can be seen in the film, giving us a little insight into Mysterio’s true abilities.
Peter finally finds himself shattered and at the mercy of the end of the world. But we couldn’t talk about a real Spider-Man if he didn’t get up every time he lost a battle. It doesn’t happen any differently now. With all its might, it finally starts for the final battle, which is undoubtedly a very spectacular and exciting point in the film, but it’s not the most interesting. This will happen in the post-credits scenes, of which there are two. One is the end of the movie, one after the entire credits. Both are worth a look.
The lives of Spider-Man and his friends will take an interesting but not comic-book unprecedented turn in the next films. The question is how Peter’s going to deal with it. Fury turns out to have bigger things on his head than the Elementals destroying the earth or the possibility of a multiverse.
The first member of the MCU’s fourth phase will be The Black Widow coming next year, which is not expected to reveal much about the sequel. However, it was reported that Eternals, which had already begun casting, followed by Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, Shang-Chi and Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
