The next Meizu flagship is here

Meizu used to be in the news quite a bit, then they pretty much disappeared, then came back, and now they’re back working on at least one device that will compete among the flagships. The smartphone will be the continuation of last year’s Meizu 18s Pro, but the manufacturer is said to omit the number 19, so the mobile phone will be named Meizu 20.

Previously, the manufacturer announced and Qualcomm also confirmed that they are working on the development of a smartphone equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, so this is not so new, but the mobile in question appeared in the database of the synthetic test application called Geekbench.

Qualcomm’s high-end chipset was responsible for driving the prototype, 12 GB of RAM was added to the chipset, and the Android 13 operating system ran on the tested device during the benchmark measurements. Meizu’s phone is M2392 listed on Geekbench with a model number.

At the moment, quite a bit is known about the device, but there will reportedly be at least two members of the series, in addition to the basic model, a smartphone named Meizu 20 Pro will also appear.

You won’t have to worry about raw performance, Meizu’s tested device lives up to the hype, scoring 1,409 points in the single-core tests and 4,199 points in the multi-core tests. What the upcoming smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer will offer in terms of other features is a great question, but according to our guesses, we will hear about the mobile phone and its specifications again in the near future.
