The soon-to-be-launched OnePlus Ace 2 has received certification for the Chinese market, or so a recent report claims. Ace 2 will be the sequel to Ace, which debuted last April, and since it already has the necessary permits, it can arrive earlier this year than its predecessor last year.
The recent report also mentions that the OnePlus Ace 2 may hit the shelves in India and perhaps other regions as the OnePlus 11R. During the certification process, it was also documented that the device will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100-watt cable fast charging, just like the premium OnePlus 11.
The OnePlus Ace 2 sold in the China region is a PHK110 has a model number, inside it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which, depending on the chosen package, can be equipped with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The smartphone will be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary imager, which will be supported by two additional camera modules. The selfie camera will have a resolution of 16 or 32 megapixels.
According to the news, the display will be 6.7 inches with Full HD+ resolution, the panel will be of the AMOLED type, namely a solution that supports 120 Hz image refresh. The OnePlus device in China will run ColorOS 13 operating system, which will be based on Android 13. If the device really appears in international waters, the software front will be maintained by OxygenOS 13. At the moment, it is not known whether the mobile will receive the alarm slider or not.
