Google has doubled, but without costing a penny
It’s not very common for a tech company to give much more to its subscribers under unchanged conditions – and pricing – but Google has now gone beyond that. And it wasn’t even an April Fool’s joke.
The company has significantly increased the amount of cloud storage included with the AI Pro package, which costs HUF 8,800 per month in Hungary: instead of the previous 2 TB, users now get 5 TB. Like that Engadget points out, in addition to AI, this storage can also be used in Gmail, Google Drive, and as a backup for Photos.
Another new addition to the package is that Gemini can now collect information from Gmail and the Internet for its office programs, as well as create summaries of incoming messages. What’s more, you can have a mail checked with the device before sending. However, the availability of these features may vary by region.

The 5 TB storage space has already appeared in the Hungarian description, so both existing and new subscribers can take advantage of the more than doubled storage space. The company did not make a big deal about the change, no official statement was issued on the matter.
