Official-looking photos of the Royole FlexPai 3 have surfaced
The Royole FlexPai debuted in October 2018, giving it the “world’s first foldable smartphone.” Three years have gone since then, and the next generation is set to emerge, with Evan Blass, a well-known and trusted leaker, releasing an official-looking rendered image.
Because he’s done his rounds with the Chinese Telecom Agency before, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the third version of the Royole FlexPai, but the imagery recently provided is far more detailed than what he saw in February.
The bendable smartphone, which is expected to be released soon, will keep the same design as its predecessors, which means that when folded, it will be outside the display. Two picture capturing modules and an LED flash are arranged in a square pattern on the back panel. A recess of the same size allows the gadget to fold entirely on the opposite side. So, what’s in there, exactly? Isn’t it just a selfie camera that pops up? It appears to be high!
The Royole FlexPai 3 display will be 7.2 inches open, the phone will support 5G networks, and it will have a battery capacity of at least 3,360 mAh, according to the TENAA documents. The smartphone with the flexible screen will once again run an Android-based operating system.
The hardware specifications for the FlexPai 3 are unknown, but we know that it will measure 147.1 x 138.8 x 7 mm. A fingerprint reader will be located on the side frame, and a USB-C connector will be found on the bottom but not in the center. We don’t yet know when the device will be released or how much it will cost.
