Huawei launches new product, an ultra-thin monitor
With a curved, ultra-thin 34-inch display, the first member of Huawei’s new monitor family was introduced, which was also imported.
Designed specifically for gamers and professional users, Huawei MateView GT has a 21:9 curved display with 3440×1440 resolution. With an unprecedented refresh rate of 165 Hz, the device not only provides users with a smoother and more precise view, thanks to the TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light rating and the TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free rating, it effectively reduces blue light and flicker, which can be harmful to the eyes, but the company also points out.
The company’s announcement mentions that engineers have calibrated each panel individually to make the Delta E <2 – which means that the screen’s hues played realistically. Furthermore, Huawei MateView GT is capable of 350 nits of highlight brightness for a more realistic content display, a contrast ratio of 4000:1, and it also supports HDR 10 technology.
Adjusting the display’s brightness in low-light conditions and overexposed scenes can help players quickly detect opponents. In addition, the display includes a crosshair feature specially designed for first-person shooter games (fps) and allows you to aim and shoot quickly.
The user experience is enhanced not in image but sound because two 5-watt speakers with 2.0 stereo sound are built into the monitor stand. SoundBar’s built-in RGB touchscreen can be customized to adjust the volume with up to one finger on its touch-sensitive surface. A five-way joystick is available under the bottom front panel to manage the monitor.
Launched for $615, Huawei mate view GT features various ports, including a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones and microphone, two HDMI 2.0 display ports, a 1.4 DisplayPort, a USB-C for charging, and another full-value USB-C port.
