One UI 4.0 beta for Android 12 has been released for Galaxy S21 mobiles

For now, we’re still waiting for a stable version of Android 12, which Google is expected to release on October 4. Still, testing of Samsung’s own system, One UI 4.0, based on it, has already begun beta testing with Galaxy S21 models.

Samsung has also officially launched the One UI 4.0 beta program, which can be applied through the Samsung Members app. Applicants are primarily invited from the following regions: China, India, Germany, Poland, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Currently supported devices: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 +, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Additional regions and models may join the beta in the future.

One UI 4.0 will also bring significant innovations in appearance and functionality. On the one hand, we get debut enhancements in Android 12, such as privacy alerts that instantly show when an app is using our phone’s camera or microphone. Of course, this is just one of the many innovations. Stable One UI 4.0 updates could be launched sometime towards the end of this year, starting with the Galaxy S21 mobiles.
