Nintendo 64 emulation on the Nintendo Switch debuts with criticism
As soon as the Expansion Pack for the Nintendo Switch Online was launched, it has already been possible to see how the emulation of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time looks even worse than the version of the game for the Nintendo Wii, and it is that in addition to disadvantages graphics, where for example the water is not transparent, or fog or reflections are being poorly implemented. Added to this, players cannot remap the action buttons to play as this game was played on the original console.
Looks like there are fog and transparency issues with the Switch emulation solution (which seems to be based on the 3D All Stars emulator). Looks like it doesn’t quite work well with all games yet. Not great. https://t.co/wxpYk1ADH2

As if that weren’t enough, the biggest problem has audio lag. For example, you can jump, and the jump action sounds late enough that you realize that the two activities are not in sync. To this is also added complaints with the input lag, which has been the same as the audio, but with the character’s actions, such as pressing the button to attack. This action is transferred to the game late enough to affect the gaming experience.

Finally, performance and connectivity problems have also been reported when playing Mario Kart 64 online.
