Intel reneges on its promise of drivers with Elden Ring support on launch day
The AMD Radeon Adrenalin 22.2.3 drivers that supported one of the most anticipated games in 2022, Elden Ring, are available today.
Intel had promised that it would have its drivers available for the launch of the game on February 24, but at the moment, they have not yet appeared. Intel announced that they have partnered with Namco Bandai to optimize their drivers so that they can enjoy support for this game even before its release.

On the website that Intel has enabled for Elden Ring, if we click to download its drivers, it takes us to version 30.0.101.1121 dated November 15 of last year. This version does not have support for this recent title. The link to buy the game to Namco Bandai’s website doesn’t work either, as if someone had forgotten this little website.
The problem is that Intel has not kept its promise when the launch of new dedicated graphics cards for gaming is just around the corner. With this, it questions whether, once the new Intel Arc is available, it will offer drivers frequently to support all the new titles launched on the market. At the moment, there are no drivers that support this game from NVIDIA either
