A bunch of new Android features have been announced by Google
The Google crew is in a festive mood, and they’ve released a slew of new Android features. Some of these will be accessible shortly, while others are already available.
The Family Bell feature, which reminds us of crucial moments, brings families together. Users will receive notifications through phone, bright display, or house speaker, ensuring they do not miss any vital information. The feature can make us think of things like going to the movies with our family or doing homework.
You can now use Google Books to view your entire collection or keep track of where you are in an audiobook, thanks to the addition of widgets to three Google apps. You can see you’re most recently listened to tracks and control your music playback using YouTube Music. Google Photos now has a People & Pets widget that allows you to add a sweet face to your home screen.
The latter will be ready as early as next week; however, it is unclear when the others will be equipped. Google Photos now has a new ” Memories “ feature found within the app. This involves selecting images and videos from special occasions such as holidays or significant birthdays. You can rename, customize, or even remove these.
The mechanical restoration of application permissions improves user security by denying applications that haven’t been used in a long time access to data on the device or preventing them from completing any actions. The permissions will be re-enabled when you open the app. Google Play Services will make a new capability available as early as Android 6.0.
New emojis will be added to the Gboard keyboard, and beta users will be able to try them out, but they will be available in the “regular” app in the coming weeks. The gift box emoji, for example, is one of the newbies, and it’s right on time as the holidays approach.
An exciting innovation is the digital car key function, one of the newly announced innovations that can already be used. In addition to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models, the innovation is also available on Samsung Galaxy S21 in selected regions. The new feature only works with a few compatible BMW cars, but it’s not impossible to later extend support to vehicles from other manufacturers.
The final feature, which was just announced, is the ability to have Android Auto starts immediately when we attach our Android device to a suitable vehicle. We have access to a feature called Smart Answers on the fly, making it easier to respond to a text message with Google Now.
Another benefit will be voice search, which will allow us to select songs in media apps more quickly and without making mistakes. Google has stated that two new car features will be released soon, though no specific date has been set.
