Are you using Chrome? Check out the new features
Google has also put together some useful new features for Chrome and desktop users.
Users may want to look at the Chrome browser from time to time, as Google has introduced several small new features to the program released for Android and desktops.
One of these is what users of the android app can enjoy: it will be easier to set what data a website can access. All you have to do is tap the padlock icon in the browser’s title bar and select Permissions. Once you have that, you can set what we give access to and what we don’t.
Google also promises a feature in the future that will prevent a particular website from being included in your browsing history.
Another beneficial innovation is also the safety of users. You will be able to type various text commands in your browser’s address bar to make certain settings faster and easier. For example, entering delete history will give you a button to instantly clear your browsing history and a safety check to check how safe your passwords are, for example. You can try the latter in the desktop version of the browser.
In our experience, what’s new hasn’t arrived in either mobile or desktop Chrome yet. Google promises to do this in the coming weeks, so you may want to check back from time to time to see if any updates are already available. For the Android version, you can do this by clicking this link, and in the browser for computers, you need to select Help – About Google Chrome.
