The Xiaomi 12 may be the first to receive the Snapdragon 898
Not so surprising, but it looks like, again, Xiaomi will be the first manufacturer to use Qualcomm’s current state-of-the-art hardware.
The well-known leak, Digital Chat Station, says the Xiaomi 12 will be the first phone that Snapdragon 898 works with, if only it would be the chip’s last name at all. Anyway, Motorola is also in competition, they can introduce a device with the same hardware before the end of the year, but Xiaomi is said to be a little faster.
Xiaomi and Qualcomm have had a good relationship for a long time, with new Snapdragon chips debuting in the Chinesemanufacturer’ss phones in previous years, respectively, and not just in the high-end category.
The Snapdragon 898, by the way, recently dropped a Geébench result that could be about 15% faster than the 888. Of course, it was probably just a prototype, and the hardware is still under development.
The Xiaomi 12 has little to know about anything other than the processor yet, but they’re still talking about a 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display and a 120W fast charge. It is also possible thatSamsung’ss 200 MP camera sensor, ISOCELL HP1, will make its debut in this, although it may also be the privilege of the Ultra model.
