Diablo IV Minimum and Recommended Requirements
The presentation of Diablo IV left me with excellent feelings, but at the same time, it led me to wonder what requirements we will need to be able to move it on PC in an optimal way.
All those who have played Diablo III know that it is a very affordable game in terms of hardware requirements, something that is perfectly normal considering the technical finish it offers and that it is an intergenerational game, that is, which is available for both Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Switch as well as for PS4 and Xbox One.
With Diablo IV, there has been a significant qualitative and quantitative leap, which will inevitably affect your requirements. Yes, this means that we will see a considerable increase and that to play the new from Blizzard, we will need a more powerful PC. In return, we will enjoy a much more polished technical section, with a much more elaborate geometry, a wider world, and superior light and shadow effects.
We still do not have an official list with the absolute requirements for Diablo IV. Still, in this article, we will share an estimate that includes the minimum and recommended configuration that we will need to enjoy the said game on PC. I do not think that the final requirements vary too much, so you can trust the two lists that you will find below.
Diablo IV minimum requirements
- Windows 7 de 64 bits con SP1.
- Procesador Core i5 2400 o AMD FX 6300.
- 8 GB of RAM.
- GTX 670 or Radeon HD 7950 graphics card.
- About 60 GB of free disk space.
With this configuration, we should move it in 1080p and low qualities, enjoying a relatively good fluidity. We say “relatively” because being an open-world multiplayer title, performance may vary depending on the enemies and characters on the screen.
In any case, Blizzard always tries to ensure that its games do not have crazy minimum requirements, and it has a reason for being, it allows it to reach a more significant number of users. We don’t think Diablo IV is going to be the exception.
Diablo IV Recommended Requirements
- 64-bit Windows 10.
- Procesador Core i5 9400F o Ryzen 5 2600.
- 16 GB of RAM.
- 6GB GTX 1060 or 8GB Radeon RX 580 graphics card.
- About 60 GB of free disk space.
This should be enough to move the game to 1080p with maximum qualities and a good level of fluency. Diablo IV could have, due to its peculiarities, a relatively high dependency on the CPU, so having more than four cores will probably be essential to enjoy an optimal experience.
If you have higher configurations, such as a GTX 1070-Radeon RX Vega 56, you will have no problem moving it in 1440p. If we want to jump to 4K, the requirements will increase significantly, and we will need at least a Radeon RX 5700 XT or an RTX 2070 Super.
I remind you that, according to the most recent information, the launch of Diablo IV is expected in late 2020 or early 2021, and yes, it will also arrive on PS5 and Xbox Scarlett.
