Within a short period of time, Google has already come up with the second solution, with which it tries to bring the Play store and the applications it contains closer to the users. At the beginning of March, the company introduced the new function, thanks to which you can play paid games for free. This can make the decision much easier for those who like a game, but don’t want to “blindly” pay for it.

Now Google has come up with a new solution that allows users to get a more accurate picture of what users think about a specific application.

Up until now, app reviews could be filtered based on who gave them how many points (stars), but thanks to the new solution, it is now possible to search among text reviews as well, pointed out the Android Authority.

The company has been testing the solution since November, the essence of which is that the user only needs to enter a word or phrase in the search field that appears in the reviews, and the system displays the reviews that contain it as hits. This greatly simplifies browsing them.

There was no information on the exact date of the introduction, but Google has now confirmed that the feature will be available to all users through an automatic update.

To use this function, you need to find the section containing the reviews on the page of the given application, then you can enter the desired search term by tapping on the magnifying glass icon that appears.

Google has already released the Play Store update, but according to our experience, at the time of writing this article, the new feature had not yet reached Hungarian users. This may change in the coming days.
