  • The AirPods 3 earphones were dismantled to find out what Apple had built into them

The AirPods 3 earphones were dismantled to find out what Apple had built into them

The recently announced third-generation AirPods are very similar to the Airpods pro. However, a teardown revealed differences, mainly internal.

In October, it unveiled Apple’s TWS (truly wireless) headset, the third-generation AirPods, which many call only AirPods 3 for short. Many have said it is just like the AirPods Pro, which is why the YouTube channel 52audio, which specializes in headphones and earphones, was particularly curious about it. They also got the new earpiece apart.

They weren’t easy, as most of the parts are glued together (they’ll probably score well for that as well as the usual iFixit test if it does). A new set of magnets has been discovered for the AirPods 3 case to fit the topic to the Magsafe charger. This is not the case with other AirPods, the 9to5Mac notes after the teardown.

The case also contains a logic card, a 345 mAh battery, and a Lightning connector. There is also a graphite heat pad to prevent overheating. Going back to the battery: while the AirPods Pro has two small internal batteries, the current AirPods have only one power source.

The AirPods 3 also comes with a brand new skin sensor that is so advanced that other surfaces will not fool it. You can reliably determine when you’re in the ear and won’t start playing music, for example, when you put the ear on the table. The AirPods Pro’s optical sensor is less reliable.

The internal battery capacity of the tested AirPods was 0.133 Wh. Otherwise, this unit was placed between the speaker and the microphone.

  • There will be Notch and a camera on Facebook’s smart watch

There will be Notch and a camera on Facebook’s smart watch

According to the latest news, Facebook is making a new, rather exciting smartwatch. An image has also been leaked, and based on that, the gadget’s camera gets a lot of emphases.

The rendered image below, which allegedly shows a Facebook smartwatch, was recently released. We don’t know yet how final the design is. The device is probably still under development, so we already know what the company is working on.

What immediately shows up is the notch at the bottom of the display, which of course, hides a camera, which isn’t very smart, and the sensor island is mostly just for phones.

One of the main features of the widget can be video chat, but it can also be used to take stock photos and videos, and the recordings will be instantly streamed to your smartphone or social networking sites.

The arrival of the smartwatch may take place sometime in 2022, and the only question is whether there will be a demand for it with such a design or with the company’s user-friendly data management solutions.

  • Official-looking photos of the Royole FlexPai 3 have surfaced

Official-looking photos of the Royole FlexPai 3 have surfaced

The Royole FlexPai debuted in October 2018, giving it the “world’s first foldable smartphone.” Three years have gone since then, and the next generation is set to emerge, with Evan Blass, a well-known and trusted leaker, releasing an official-looking rendered image.

    [ads1]

Because he’s done his rounds with the Chinese Telecom Agency before, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the third version of the Royole FlexPai, but the imagery recently provided is far more detailed than what he saw in February.

The bendable smartphone, which is expected to be released soon, will keep the same design as its predecessors, which means that when folded, it will be outside the display. Two picture capturing modules and an LED flash are arranged in a square pattern on the back panel. A recess of the same size allows the gadget to fold entirely on the opposite side. So, what’s in there, exactly? Isn’t it just a selfie camera that pops up? It appears to be high!

The Royole FlexPai 3 display will be 7.2 inches open, the phone will support 5G networks, and it will have a battery capacity of at least 3,360 mAh, according to the TENAA documents. The smartphone with the flexible screen will once again run an Android-based operating system.

The hardware specifications for the FlexPai 3 are unknown, but we know that it will measure 147.1 x 138.8 x 7 mm. A fingerprint reader will be located on the side frame, and a USB-C connector will be found on the bottom but not in the center. We don’t yet know when the device will be released or how much it will cost.

  • The Apple Watch could have a new feature next year that detects road accidents.

The Apple Watch could have a new feature next year that detects road accidents.

According to reports, Apple could use the Apple Watch’s fall detection technology differently. In 2018, Apple announced the fourth-generation Apple Watch with a built-in fall sensor.

    [ads1]

The watch monitors the wearer’s acceleration and instantly contacts 911 if it senses that the person has fallen. The Wall Street Journal has learned that the corporation is about to launch a comparable service.

According to papers obtained by the WSJ, Apple is working on detecting if an Apple Watch wearer is involved in a car accident. Collision detection is the most challenging component of the process. More specifically, Apple is said to have anonymously collected data regarding incidents spotted by users’ watches during the past year.

As a result, 10 million possible accidents were discovered, with 50,000 successfully linked to emergency calls. If assistance was required, the sudden acceleration detected by the watch was almost certainly an accident.

    © Apple

Apple’s method is particularly advantageous since, in a car accident, the watch recognizes that something is wrong and initiates an emergency call.

A few years back, Google included a similar feature on its Pixel phones. In practice, he utilized an app called Personal Safety, which used data collected by motion sensors and microphones to determine a person’s whereabouts. It attempts to determine whether an accident resulted from these factors.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple intends to include the accident detection technology in the Apple Watch, which is expected to be released in 2022, so it will be available simultaneously.

  • The Oura Smart Ring’s third generation launches with new sensors and functionalities.

The Oura Smart Ring’s third generation launches with new sensors and functionalities.

The market for wearable gadgets, which is no longer limited to wristbands and smartwatches, will be exciting to monitor. The third iteration of the Oura Smart Ring is now available, with new sensors and functionality for the future owner.

The 24-hour heart rate measurement, made possible by a new optical sensor, is one of the most significant innovations. The previous generation could only detect heart rate while sleeping at night. Thus this might be a huge step forward for chronic patients and people who lead an active lifestyle.

A $6.99 subscription plan includes personalized referrals, tutorial videos, and audio to assist the ring-wearer. It’s absolutely up to you if you want to do it. Even so, anyone who pre-orders will receive a complimentary six-month subscription.

The thinking ring now has seven health-tracking sensors, one of which measures blood oxygen levels, although this feature won’t be available until next year.

According to the company, the new device would forecast women’s cycles 30 days ahead of time using algorithms and body temperature sensors. The ring will alert the user six days before menstruation and will learn from the user’s biological changes in the future, offering even more precise findings.

Oura Smart Ring materials have nothing to complain about, as the current generation is made of titanium and can withstand immersion in water up to 100 meters deep. Despite having a lot of technology packed in, the device is only 4-6 grams in weight, depending on the size you choose.

The built-in battery can provide 4-7 days of operation on a single charge. The working period is primarily determined by whether or not the continuous heart rate measurement is enabled.

The Oura Smart Ring will be available on November 15, but pre-orders are now open. The ring will set you back $299. Before purchasing a device, keep in mind that not all functions will be available at the time of purchase.

  • If you look at YouTube with these glasses, you will see the world very differently

If you look at YouTube with these glasses, you will see the world very differently

After much criticism of the first sunglasses, we now have a promising version of Nreal in China. They claim that anyone who watches this video or opens apps can become part of a new kind of world.

Augmented reality (AR) is not just a new kind of opportunity for the military, as devices that use this technology are now commercially available. Just think of the smart glasses with which you can get extra content by joining an app – on almost any topic.

The regular consumer market is also targeted by a Chinese company called Nreal, which has recently come up with a novelty called Air: smart glasses that are specifically recommended for watching videos or movies, possibly games. And because it already has dark lenses, it can be used well, even in strong sunlight.

To project the content, the glasses send the content to the internal lenses, more precisely to a smaller display located there. The product must be connected to a smartphone with a wired solution that ensures that the image from there reaches the glasses. The user must also open an application for communication to be uninterrupted.

According to Nreal, the method is excellent for “spatial” browsing YouTube videos, as each shot gets a little closer and at eye level. The device’s wearer can control playback from the phone or load new applications.

    © Nreal

According to Engadget, the image can be rotated 46 degrees, giving the buyer a relatively large 201-inch digital interface. The latter’s advantage is that pictures of multiple contents can be imported simultaneously in the artificial range, even at 90 Hz.

Nreal Air is the company’s second such device after receiving a lot of criticism. Among other things, your predecessor got outward-facing cameras that could also see the items in front of the glasses. The product was also heavier: it weighed 106 grams, while the current version weighed 77.

The company also reconsidered the pricing because there was also a problem: it was offered 600 dollars. The novelty will be a fraction of that, according to Nreal, but is planned to be marketed only in the Asian market in the first round.

  • Leaked photo of Facebook’s Meta smartwatch

Leaked photo of Facebook’s Meta smartwatch

Meta — the corporate formerly referred to as Facebook — is also developing a smartwatch that may take photos and videos.

Bloomberg has published a picture showing a smartwatch with rounded corners just like the Apple Watch, except it contains a notch with a front-facing camera.

    [ads1]

App developer Steve Moser found the image inside the company’s app accustomed control its Ray-Ban Stories AR sunglasses, hinting that it could even be wont to control the watch within the future.

In addition to having rounded corners and a camera, the smartwatch possesses a stainless-steel casing and detachable straps. Moser also says that the code inside the app indicates that the watch may be called Milan, which could afford the photos and videos you captured with it to be downloaded on the phone.

According to Bloomberg, Meta hopes to launch a smartwatch as early as 2022, but nothing has been finalized yet. Further, Facebook’s parent company is reportedly already functioning on three generations of products released at different times.

It is not clear if the device shown within the image is one amongst those or if it’ll even be released the least bit. The Verge also reported earlier this year that Facebook is functioning on a smartwatch with a front-facing and a 1080p rear camera with autofocus.

It could also have a pulse rate monitor and LTE connectivity, though those features may be distributed across the three different models.

  • Official Redmi Watch 2

    Official Redmi Watch 2

Not only were smartphones unveiled at Redmi’s latest event, but a brand new smartphone and a wallet-friendly wireless headset were also unveiled in the company of the Note 11 series. Let’s take a brief look at the Redmi Watch 2 and Redmi Buds 3 Youth Edition.

    Redmi Watch 2

The Chinese manufacturer’s engineers managed to cut the frames around the clock display somewhat, so the diagonal increased slightly, this time to 1.6 inches instead of 1.4. Another significant advancement is that there is now an organic panel on the watch.

    [ads1]

The IPS LCD was not a tragedy either, but the vibrant colors and perfect viewing angles of AMOLED technology significantly improve the user experience of wearable devices. The resolution of the display is 360 x 320 pixels.

They have also improved the device’s operating time, and now it can last up to 12 days on a single charge. The previous generation had to use the energy-saving mode to extract this operating time. There has been no revolutionary change in the charging process, and we can still solve it with a magnetic cable.

The soul of the smartwatch is an Apollo 3.5 chipset, which supports 117 different sports modes, including swimming. The outer casing of the device is waterproof according to the 5ATM rating. Of course, the usual functions such as heart rate or blood oxygen level measurement are not missed, and sleep monitoring is also possible.

Redmi Watch 2 has a built-in navigation system that supports GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo satellites, and GPS satellites. Thanks to the built-in NFC technology, you can also pay by the hour. Despite the larger battery and screen, the device is still lighter by 4 grams, weighing only 31 grams. Customers can choose from three shades, while the TPU strap is available in six different colors.

Redmi Watch 2 is now pre-orderable in China, and shipping will begin on November 11th. The average price of the device is $63, but those who pre-order now can get some discounts.

    Redmi Buds 3 Youth Edition

The device in question is an even cheaper version of the previously released Redmi Buds 3 for a younger audience, as its name suggests. The novelty is roughly half the size of AirDots 3 Pro, how Buds 3 Pro became known on the international market. The new earbuds have been given a so-called “cat ear” design designed to make the earphone fit more comfortably and securely in the ear.

According to the manufacturer’s description, the headphones will be capable of 18 hours of operation time (with the battery case), which is not bad at all but still not as impressive as the 28 hours provided by the previous Pro model. The device is still charging via USB-C. It supports Bluetooth 5.2 connections, although the active noise filtering must be canceled this time.

The earbuds have some minimal protection against water. The IP54 rating guarantees that a few drops of rain or sweat will not damage the good electronics of the little things. The Redmi Buds 3 Youth Edition earphones will be available for $16, converted from the local currency.

  • Top 3 Cheap SIM Smartwatches in 2021

Top 3 Cheap SIM Smartwatches in 2021

Some smartwatches can not only be used as an accessory in addition to our mobile phone but can also be used to make phone calls and SMS with them, thanks to the built-in SIM card slot. (We updated the article with 2021 info!)

We are now looking at three smartphones with SIM cards, which are popular, proven types, offer many valuable functions but do not cost a fortune.

    Fuse Pro smartwatch

This is another prevalent type, as it is hardly similar in knowledge. It has a SIM card slot, a GPS receiver (for sports, route tracking), and even moderately waterproof.

The Fuse Pro smartphone is also compatible with Android phones and iPhones. It displays calls, messages, and notifications to measure daily activity and heart rate. It even has various sports modes available on it. While running, hiking, or biking, you can not only save the route you take but also monitor your elevation with the built-in pressure gauge and even have a digital compass in it.

The Fuse Pro is now available for sale for $127, and a second premium strap is also included. Of course, fast delivery and a 1-year warranty are given here too! More details and purchase at this link.

    G4 Smart Smartphone

The G4 Smart is a significant advantage in addition to the cheapness but of course not the only reason you should choose. It’s got an excellent, uncut round IPS display, a camera on it, a removable strap, and plenty of use for everything.

Of course, there are phone functions, it can be used to receive and make calls, even without a mobile phone, and when connected to a phone, it is also suitable for hands-free communication. It handles SMS, displays notifications, and lacks multimedia capabilities: image viewer, music player, voice recorder, file manager, and more. The clock can also be used to control our phone’s music player or fire the camera remotely.

Of course, this is far from the case. Here you will find a more detailed presentation. The G4 Smart can be a good choice for men and ladies or children and can now be ordered at a very reasonable price, for $90.

    G4 Pro smartwatch

The G4 Pro smartphone is also trendy and has a full-circle 1.3-inch IPS display. The strap on the watch is replaceable, and the display comes to life automatically when you raise your arm (the other two eyes know that too).

Of course, this is also a smart card with a SIM card, i.e., we can make/receive calls and send SMS with it independently, and there is also a phonebook and a call log here.

The significant advantage of the G4 Pro over the G4 Smart is that it has a heart rate monitor and supports Android and iOS mobiles: you can use it for hands-free, display notifications, and even exchange music on your phone!

The G4 Pro smartwatch is also recommended for gentlemen and ladies, as it is available in several colors and comes with an extra gift strap. It is currently available for $110

  • Xiaomi Mi Band 6 smart bracelet Review- The best choice in a price range?

Xiaomi Mi Band 6 smart bracelet Review- The best choice in a price range?

In July 2014, Xiaomi unveiled the first Xiaomi Mi Band series member. It was already conquered with its price at that time, but at that time, it had even more modest knowledge compared to today’s models.

We already followed our sleep and activities excellently, had a pleasant running time, and could also use it to unlock our (Android) phone. Then, over the years, the series was equipped with more and more functions by the manufacturer, heart rate measurement was added, and more extensive and more beautiful displays.

Currently, the Mi Band 6 model is the latest. Let’s see what the smart bracelet positioned in the 15,000 price range is capable of.

    Box / packaging

The manufacturer didn’t think about it. The bracelet and the accessories that come with it come in a simple box decorated with pleasant design elements. Next to the unit, we get a factory strap, a charging unit, and some paper.

    Specifications

    • Display: 1.56 inch AMOLED, 152 x 486 pixels, 326 ppi, 450 units brightness
    • Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.0 BLE & NFC on some models
    • Battery: 125 mAh
    • Dimensions: 47.4 x 18.6 x 12.7mm
    • Weight: 12.8 g

    Mi Band 6

    Display

There is no point in talking about anything else on the unit, as there are no input devices other than the display. There will be more cleverness on the software side.

For the sixth series, the Mi Band has been given a collection that perfectly fits the shape of the unit, so there is more information on the display, and last but not least, it looks the same. On the side of the team, close to our arm, there are heart rate and blood oxygen level sensors that can operate up to 0/24 if the user desires.

    The base dial

In addition to sleep, exercise, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels, we also have the following options on the device:

    • See weather
    • Music control
    • Stop an alarm
    • Start breathing exercises
    • Stress level control
    • Stopwatch, timer
    • Flashlight mode, at which time the bracelet glows white at maximum brightness
    • View notifications

There are plenty of features at our disposal

    Software

There will be no shortage of dials. The manufacturer recommends software called Mi Fit in addition to the bracelet, although there is no doubt that it can work with external applications.

In the software, you can find everything that is an eye-to-mouth stimulus. You can adjust the clock face, choose from various options, or even touch the background or the position of the information displayed on some dials.

Math doesn’t come out – It’s no coincidence that you can manually set the sleep time if you want, but the algorithm won’t be as accurate.

In the application, we will later see a detailed evaluation of our sleep, not only the duration but also the distribution of each sleep cycle. Of course, we’re not talking about a medically validated device, but the algorithm works surprisingly accurately.

You can see the effect on the battery above.

Mi Fit has recently added the ability to display the effect of settings on the battery in the software. This lets you see precisely how much standby time you can expect after turning on or off each feature. Experience also makes this point exactly.

    Customizable notifications

Here, you can set which notifications you want to receive or control specific applications separately. Messages for less popular apps are also displayed, but the app can no longer turn them on / off.

The workout view is also excellent. We can look at our heart rate during training, duration, and essential information on a simple but nice-looking graph.

    Long-term experience

I’ve been using the bracelet slowly for three months now, with an iOS phone (iPhone 11 then 13). Fortunately, I did not experience any problems with its use. The notifications come in nicely, I can immediately see when someone is calling, and the built-in music manager part of the bracelet works perfectly even when running Spotify. The battery life is the same as the time dropped by the program in the Mi Fit app, with me turning on some extra features for 6-8 days, but if I turn them off, the two weeks aren’t a dream either.

It also indicates the charge nicely.

The charging was also implemented perfectly. Fortunately, the company also uses the magnetic technology that arrived in Band 5. As a result, we don’t have to take the unit out of the rubber bracelet part, and we have to detach it from our arm.

Therefore, we have to give up some extra services for the price, such as the GPS built directly into the bracelet or the built-in memory. Still, they only become “mandatory” items in another price category.

  • 5 Best capture cards for game recording in 2022

5 Best capture cards for game recording in 2022

It’s challenging to record a video game without additional hardware because the recording procedure puts a lot of strain on the processor or VGA card.

The capture card is a streamer’s closest buddy, ensuring that the live broadcast goes off without a hitch. You’ll need a recording card if you wish to record decent-quality footage from a console or utilize a mirrorless camera instead of a webcam. In our upcoming piece, we’ll assist you in choosing the best one based on our recommended models.

    [ads1]

    Elgato Game Capture HD60S

The Elgato Game Capture HD60 S is a beautiful place to start if you’re new to streaming. It comes with software that makes it simple to get started recording. The disadvantage is that your editing program is just helpful for cutting. And, maybe most importantly, it can record retroactively, even if you touch the record button afterward.

    Avermedia Live Gamer Duo

Because the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus card can transmit a 4K signal while recording, you can play in 4K. However, because the output is only in Full HD, you should only use it if you are OK with the quality of the recording. External storage, USB 3.0, and Mac compatibility are all advantages. It can save the hard drive from the large size of the tapes by recording to a microSD card.

    Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+

The Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S + card is for you if you don’t want to compromise! It can record 4K frames per second at 60 frames per second, and the HEVC encoding keeps the CPU from becoming too hot. Because the card determines the resolution, bit rate, and file format for you, it’s straightforward to set up. It can record to an SD card, just like the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus.

    Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro

The Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro internal recording card is ideal if you don’t want to spend much money. According to Elgato, it contains an H.264 encoder, which allows you to produce massive amounts of 1080p / 60fps content in outstanding quality.

    Razer Ripsaw HD

The Razer Ripsaw HD provides the best picture quality solution for its price. Not only is this recorder external, but it supports audio mixing through the microphone and headphone jacks that can be connected to it. The downside is that you don’t have your software, but this problem can be easily fixed with OBS’s free programs.

    [ads2]

Now we’ve’ lined up the best recording cards for you. If you want to record not only pictures but also sound in good quality, you will also need a great microphone!

  • The OnePlus Buds Z2 can be a promising earphone

The OnePlus Buds Z2 can be a promising earphone

OnePlus will, in principle, introduce the successor to the Buds Z headset this month. However, thanks to Max J., many things turned out to be the Buds Z2 wireless headset.

A big update will be the support for active noise filtering, which was still missing from its predecessor. Added to this is support for the newer Bluetooth standard 5.2, and Dolby Atmos technology is back.

It is said that the operating time has also been improved so that you can count on 7 hours instead of 5, and you can think of 38 hours together with the charger case. A 10-minute charge allows for 5 hours of listening.

Thanks to the IP55 water protection, the product can be worn during rainy, sweaty workouts and is available in black and white. The Buds Z2 will be one of the cheapest active noise canceling wireless earphones on the market.
